The Zip Difference
An ordinary drop screen flaps and works its way out of its guides the moment real wind gets under it. A zip screen's fabric edge is welded into a zipper that runs captive inside an aluminium side channel — it holds tension properly, which is exactly the difference that matters on a stoep facing the valley's evening drainage wind rather than a still courtyard.
Fabric Choices
Sunscreen mesh keeps the view and the daytime privacy while cutting glare, UV and insects. Clear PVC or crystal panels seal a winter braai room against wind and rain without losing the vineyard view entirely. Blockout options exist too, for an outdoor cinema evening or a hard west-sun kill on a particularly exposed elevation.
Where They Earn Their Keep
An open-sided braai room turned into a usable space year-round, a stoep enclosed without committing to permanent walls, or an estate home wanting genuine wind and insect control without changing the building's facade at all.
Fitted Across The Valley
We fit zip screens on braai rooms and stoeps throughout Groot Drakenstein and out to smallholdings near Simondium, newer patios around Klapmuts, courtyards in Franschhoek and homes near Paarl.
